I finished my first Alder, using Robert Kaufman cotton/linen chambray. If you haven't checked out this new pattern from Grainline yet, you should. The pattern is well drafted, and the directions are pro. Now that I've made one, all the fabric in my stash is looking like 'Alder material'.
